Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Warehouse Floor Technician to join our full-time team. The role involves floor care tasks across designated areas, including cleaning, waxing, and carpet maintenance, with shifts that include nights and weekends.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour, and the team emphasizes safety, reliability, and contributing to a respectful work culture. Benefits are offered for full-time employees and a KBSPresence timekeeping app is used for attendance.

Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, and reaching in duties.
• Ability to climb ladders safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas with appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects as needed, following safety guidelines.
• Keep janitor closet neat, clean, and organized.
• Follow manufacturers' specifications for chemicals and equipment handling.
• Ensure doors and windows are secure.
• Report repairs or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
