Job summary

Yona is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join the team in Reading, PA. You will maintain and restore hard and carpeted floor surfaces, operate floor care equipment, and uphold safety protocols while providing reliable, on-time service to residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities include stripping, refinishing, burnishing floors, carpet shampooing, spot cleaning, and ensuring equipment is disinfected and maintained.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, and burnishing.
• Operates floor care equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Follows proper carpet care procedures including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use.
• Maintains safe handling and mixing of cleaning solutions per safety rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc

• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
