Yona Solutions is hiring a Floor Care Technician to join our team in Fort Smith, Arkansas. You will be responsible for maintaining and restoring a variety of floor surfaces, including hard floors and carpets, using industrial equipment and best practices.

The role requires knowledge of floor care techniques, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety. Our environment emphasizes reliability, customer service, and teamwork among residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Must follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Operates floor care equipment for cleaning large areas.
• Performs carpet care including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after use.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night
• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance
• Must provide a criminal background check
