Qualifications

• Prior experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, on-time attendance and ability to work varying shifts.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance principles and uses proper procedures on hard floor care; stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Uses equipment for cleaning of large areas of floor surfaces.
• Cleans carpets including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned.
• Performs maintenance/restoration for all floor surface types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use.
• Adheres to safety precautions when handling cleaning solutions.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing


• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface


• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc


• Operates floor care equipment as assigned


• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types


• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use


• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.


• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred


• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required


• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks


• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs


• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night


• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance


• Must provide a criminal background check
