Complete Care at Brakeley Park in Phillipsburg, NJ is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join our team. You will maintain floors across resident areas, operate floor care equipment, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Punctual and able to work varying times of day/night.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for floors.
• Uses equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Performs carpet care including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning and vacuuming.
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after use.
• Follows safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing

• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc

• Operates floor care equipment as assigned

• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types

• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use

• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.

• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred

• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required

• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs

• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night

• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance
