Job summary

Yona is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join the team. You will maintain and restore hard and soft floor surfaces, operate floor care equipment, and ensure safe handling of cleaning solutions.

The role requires reliability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varying shifts.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for hard floor care.
• Uses equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet cleaning: shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after use.
• Mixes cleaning solutions safely and follows precautions.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing

• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc

• Operates floor care equipment as assigned

• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types

• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use

• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.

• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred

• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required

• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs

• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night

• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance

• Must provide a criminal background check
