Job summary

Yona Eagle in Matawan, NJ, seeks a Floor Care Technician to join the team. You will maintain hard-surface floor care and carpet cleaning, operate floor care equipment, and perform restoration for all floor types to keep common areas clean and safe for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

The ideal candidate has prior floor care experience, knowledge of equipment and techniques, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be reliable and able to work varied times.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
