Job summary

BayCare in New Port Richey, FL is seeking a PRN Floor Care Associate to perform specialized cleaning in hospital settings. The role offers hourly pay with no benefits, weekend rotations, and a 3:00pm–11:30pm shift.

This on-site position requires floor care experience and the ability to operate cleaning equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards. The work schedule includes every-other weekend and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Six months of floor care experience required.
• Ability to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment.
• Experience with cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets and upholstery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed floor care across patient and non-patient areas.
• Move and set up furniture as needed and in compliance with safety standards.
• Clean up spills and maintain equipment, furniture and supplies to aid cost control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Facility: Morton Plant North Bay Hospital

Location: New Port Richey, FL

Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Schedule: PRN, Hourly (non-benefit eligible)

Weekend Work: Yes, every other

On Call: No

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing detailed floor care
• Specialized cleaning and departmental functions in patient and non-patient areas and assigned floor care functions based on hospital standards in accordance with safety and infection control requirements;
• Moves and sets up furniture
• Cleans up spills
• Maintains equipment, furniture, and supplies to aid in cost control
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required specific skills include:

Ability to operate and maintain floor, carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.

Six Months of Floor Care Experience required
