Job summary

BayCare is seeking an Environmental Service Technician in Clearwater to perform cleaning and departmental tasks across patient and non-patient areas. The role includes cleaning rooms, linen distribution, and equipment maintenance, with additional duties as assigned.

The position is full-time, with a 7:00AM to 3:30PM shift and every-other weekend work. The facility is BayCare Health System, Morton Plant Rehab, offering benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform cleaning and departmental tasks in patient and non-patient areas.
• Ability to handle linen distribution and basic equipment maintenance.
• Weekend work required, with shift hours 7:00AM–3:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Clean occupied and discharged patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas.
• Distribute linen and manage uniform exchanges as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supply areas; perform other duties as assigned.

The Environmental Service Technician:

• Responsible for performing various cleaning and departmental functions in assigned patient and non-patient areas which include:

• Cleaning occupied and discharged patient rooms, as well as offices and ancillary areas

• Linen distribution

• Equipment and supply maintenance

• Other duties as assigned
