Job summary

BayCare Health System at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey, FL, seeks a PRN floor care technician. Shift 3:00pm–11:30pm, hourly, non-benefit eligible, with weekend work every other weekend.

The role requires six months of floor care experience and the ability to operate cleaning equipment, following safety and infection control standards. On-site duties include moving furniture and routine cleaning of both patient and non-patient areas.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing detailed floor care
• Specialized cleaning and departmental functions in patient and non-patient areas and assigned floor care functions based on hospital standards in accordance with safety and infection control requirements;
• Moves and sets up furniture
• Cleans up spills
• Maintains equipment, furniture, and supplies to aid in cost control
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Specific Skills Include

Ability to operate and maintain floor, carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.
