Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management in Dallas seeks a dedicated housekeeping/maintenance aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. You will perform daily floor care and light maintenance under supervision, ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, bathrooms, offices and common areas; restocking supplies; and coordinating with staff to meet sanitation and infection prevention requirements. The role requires attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash, seal, wax and buff all floors in the facility per supervisor schedule.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and cleaning vents and dryers.
• Perform general housekeeping/cleaning to keep the center sanitary and safe.
• Clean offices, restrooms, kitchens, entrances and therapy rooms according to the cleaning plan.
• Clean furnishings and surfaces; disinfect fixtures; replenish supplies.
• Coordinate with residents, staff and management on environmental services requests.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are stored properly and areas kept ready for use.
