Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a dedicated housekeeper/maintenance assistant to manage day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of our facility. You will follow supervisor instructions to keep floors immaculate, spaces sanitary, and environments safe for residents.

This role requires routine floor care, light maintenance tasks, and collaboration with residents, nurses, and department leaders to meet environmental service needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in general housekeeping and facility cleaning.
• Ability to follow supervisor directions and cleaning schedules.
• Willingness to work with residents and staff across departments.

Responsibilities

• Wash, seal, wax and buff all floors per schedule.
• Perform maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs and cleaning vents.
• Clean and disinfect fixtures, walls, and surfaces.
• Ensure rooms are prepared for admissions and discharges.
• Maintain sanitation and safety of the environment.
• Inventory and restock supplies; operate cleaning equipment.
