Siemens AG in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Assembly Supervisor for Floor Assembly in the EP division to lead hourly production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, focusing on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to manage staffing and material shortages, and collaboration with planning, purchasing, and quality teams.

First and second shifts available on-site.

Formación

• Have at least 2 years of experience in assembly manufacturing, industrial production, production supervision, foreman leadership, or a related field.
• Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating hourly employees in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to manage staffing challenges, material shortages, changing production priorities, and multiple daily operational issues.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to address employee performance or conduct concerns calmly and respectfully.
• Hands-on work ethic, willingness to learn, resilience under sustained pressure, and active engagement throughout the workday.
• Flexibility to provide supervisory coverage when employees work additional hours, extended hours, or weekends.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Lead hourly assembly employees through daily production priorities while maintaining professional communication, engagement, and a safe environment.
• Manage staffing shortages, material constraints, changing priorities, and competing operational issues to support schedules and commitments.
• Maintain active floor engagement by observing work, removing barriers, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring coverage during shifts.
• Coach and develop employees through clear expectations, timely feedback, and training coordination.
• Address employee performance, conduct, and workplace concerns calmly and professionally under pressure.
• Partner with Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and other teams to improve material availability and resolve line constraints.
• Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices to increase throughput and meet production goals.
