Siemens in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a Production Supervisor within Electrical Products to lead manufacturing operations that produce equipment to distribute power safely and reliably. You'll guide production teams, optimize resources, and uphold safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement in every decision.

Based on-site, this role operates 1st shift, 5:30am to 3:00pm with rotating weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, production operations, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical proficiency and hands-on experience using hand tools in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret production requirements, prioritize work, and coordinate personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Improve safety across production lines by implementing effective Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices, addressing hazards, and reinforcing a workplace culture focused on preventing incidents.
• Ensuring adherence to production schedules by prioritizing work, assigning personnel, balancing resources, and resolving line constraints to meet delivery commitments.
• Supervising, coaching, and developing production employees by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, conducting employee review meetings, and coordinating required training.
• Maintaining product quality by interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications, identifying defects, and taking corrective action to support consistent, zero-defect production.
• Coordinating with purchasing, production planning, warehouse, and support teams to maintain material availability, minimize interruptions, and protect schedule attainment.
• Leading daily production activities through accurate shift reporting, performance tracking, and timely escalation of safety, quality, staffing, and delivery risks.
• Maintaining productive labor relations by applying the collective bargaining agreement consistently and addressing employee matters with fairness, professionalism, and sound judgment.
