Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing and support staff on the assigned floor.
• Monitor and assess the quality of care provided to residents and collaborate on care plans.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Provide orientation for new staff and ongoing training to ensure competency.
• Act as a liaison between staff, residents, families, and other departments.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of services and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee emergency response procedures on the assigned floor.
• Manage resources, including staffing, supplies, and equipment, and coordinate with administration for budget adherence.
• Address and resolve conflicts among staff and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
