Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is critical in providing residents with comprehensive nursing care. RNs are responsible for assessing residents' health, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, coordinating with the healthcare team, and ensuring residents' overall well-being and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and mental health, including gathering medical history, performing physical examinations, and evaluating their current conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' needs, preferences, and medical conditions.
  • Administer medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, as prescribed.
  • Perform various treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare personnel.
  • Educate residents and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self‑care techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and integrate resident care.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of assessments, care plans, interventions, and resident responses.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and crisis situations.
  • Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, facility policies, and quality assurance initiatives.
