Job summary

Indotronix International is seeking a Project Manager 1 to lead floodplain mapping improvements and climate hazard data integration for New York State agencies. The role centers on managing a floodplain modeling contract with the Department of Environmental Conservation and coordinating with NYSERDA programs.

You will build internal GIS tools, oversee contractor deliverables, and help make climate hazard data clear and decision-ready for statewide use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, risk management, computer science, data science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience with climate hazard datasets is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee floodplain modeling contract efforts with DEC partnership.
• Coordinate extensively with Department of Environmental Conservation
• Ensure deliverables meet contract expectations and timeline requirements
• Provide feedback to contractors on technical outputs
