Job summary

International Paper's Crawfordsville Box Facility is hiring a Production Associate - Floating Utility. You will read work orders, locate stock, and support production to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, 24-7 environment.

This full-time hourly role offers night shifts (6:00pm–6:00am) with a $0.40 night differential on top of $22.67 per hour. You will use tape measures and testing equipment, maintain housekeeping, and collaborate with machine crews to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting work orders.
• Ability to use measurement tools accurately.

Responsibilities

The Job You Will Perform

• Reading factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to learn customer requirements
• Identifying stock and products that correspond to work orders
• Performing assigned duties to ensure that production needs are met
• Assisting other associates as needed
• Accurately using tape measures and other measurements and test equipment
• Inspecting, counting, stacking, and unitizing products according to customer specifications
• Identifying and segregating nonconforming (reject) products and materials
• Accurately completing time sheets, reports, lists, and other records
• Keeping the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations
• Maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping
• Floating utilities associates also follow the direction of the operator where they are assigned
• Maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervision
