Job summary

International Paper in Three Rivers, MI is seeking a Production Associate to support operations on the manufacturing line. You will count and stack finished product, read factory orders, and assist with quality checks while following safety procedures.

This full-time role requires flexibility across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts; overtime and weekend work may be required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • The candidate should be able to count and stack products and read orders accurately.
  • Ability to perform basic math and decimal readings for quality checks.
  • Willingness to adhere to PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Count and stack finished product.
  • Read and interpret factory orders.
  • Read gauges and test equipment accurately.
  • Perform basic shop math and inspections.
  • Complete quality and administrative documents following directions.
  • Assist with cleaning and housekeeping of the machine area.
  • Participate in all safety programs.
  • Learn machine functions and support operators as needed.
  • Perform quality checks on materials and product.
  • Handle raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

The Job You Will Perform
  • Counting and stacking finished product
  • Reading factory orders
  • Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
  • Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
  • Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
  • This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
  • Actively participate in all safety programs
  • Learn machine(s) functions and effectively assist operator and/or assistant in all their duties
  • Perform quality checks
  • Handle raw materials, WIP (work in process), and finished goods
  • All other duties as assigned by a Supervisor
