Job summary

Taunton Federal Credit Union in Middleborough, MA is seeking a Universal Banker for a North Float role. You will handle member transactions, account servicing, and provide informed guidance to members across branches in Middleboro and Taunton.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of cash handling experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual EN/PT or EN/SP is a plus; Saturday hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years' cash handling experience in banking/credit union setting.
• High energy, good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to plan and organize, handle multiple priorities and stressful situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work Saturdays.
• Bilingual EN/PT or EN/SP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including check cashing, deposits and loan payments.
• Perform account servicing requests both in person and via telephone.
• Uncover member needs and provide services such as opening accounts.
• Answer phones and resolve member inquiries with research as needed.
• Educate members on products and services that could benefit them.
