Job summary

Taunton Federal Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker to provide outstanding member service, handle transactions, and support account servicing. The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to open accounts and resolve inquiries.

Candidates should have cash handling experience, a high school diploma, and the flexibility to work branch hours including Saturdays. Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years' cash handling experience preferably in a bank or credit union setting.
• High energy level, good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and follow up on tasks.
• Ability to plan and organize, handle multiple priorities and stressful situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work branch hours as needed including Saturday.
• Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including check cashing, deposits and loan payments.
• Perform account servicing requests both in person and via telephone.
• Uncover member needs and provide member service such as opening accounts.
• Answer phones and conduct appropriate research to resolve member inquiries.
• Educate members on products and services that could benefit them.

Job Summary:
