Job summary

TENCU is seeking a Floating Teller Supervisor to lead Teller and Service Transaction teams across our Tennessee branch network, with occasional travel to Cookeville and Johnson City, TN. This is a full-time, on-site role offering $24.00–$27.00 per hour and opportunities to coach staff, optimize operations, and enhance member experiences.

You will supervise, mentor, handle cash controls, compliance, and engage with branches to drive performance, while supporting community outreach and maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework in Business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in banking/credit union with 2+ years supervisory/management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Teller and Service Transaction Specialist teams.
• Support daily branch operations, cash controls, security, and compliance standards.
• Promote exceptional member service and identify opportunities to meet member financial needs.
• Provide guidance on operational procedures, regulations, and best practices.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development plans.
• Assist with account openings, account maintenance, and other platform services.
• Monitor branch performance and help locations achieve organizational goals.
• Collaborate with Branch Operations, Marketing, and Risk Management to improve processes and member engagement.
• Support community outreach and represent TENCU professionally in the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college coursework in Business or a related field and at least one year of management experience; OR
• Three years of experience in a bank, credit union, or financial institution, including two years of supervisory or management experience
