M&T Bank is seeking a Float Teller to support multiple branches in Pottsville, PA with digital engagement, lobby management and accurate transaction processing. You will travel between branches as needed to assist staff and serve customers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to bank policies, AML/KYC procedures, and risk controls. Cash handling and data entry experience are valued; bilingual ability is a plus depending on branch needs.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of customer service, data entry, or cash handling experience.
• Ability to travel between branches as needed.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Well-organized with good time management and prioritization.
• Proficient with everyday internet usage.
• Bilingual ability may be required based on branch needs.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver excellent customer service by understanding needs and solving issues.
• Educate customers through digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Greet customers and manage lobby, addressing immediate needs.
• Accurately balance and process transactions per Bank Policy.
• Resolve escalated account issues and log complaints.
• Introduce customers to banking partners for appropriate solutions.
• Handle branch operations such as cash orders, vault, ATM, wires.
• Maintain customer/account maintenance accurately.
• Complete AML/BSA/KYC related activities.
• Follow compliance controls and audit points.
