Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2500 hours of experience with children.
• 30 college credits in education or related human services.
• Equivalent combination as outlined to PA’s DHS Assistant Group Supervisor qualifications.
• Preferred: CDA with 1250 hours; Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Promote cognitive development and learning dispositions in all children.
• Follow schedules, daily routines and lesson plans in each classroom.
• Use responsive language with children.
• Participate in individualized instruction for children with disabilities and individual needs.
• Promote safe environment and health procedures.
• Supervise children and follow meal service standards.
• Implement PBIS and social-emotional skill development.
• Engage families and maintain positive relationships.
