Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County inc. seeks a Teaching Assistant to support teachers in Mount Joy CTC. You will assist with lesson delivery, classroom routines, and data collection for child assessments.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with the Lead Teacher to meet program goals for Thrive to Five and early learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1250 hours of documented experience with children (CDA).
• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher and support classroom activities.
• Implement Creative Curriculum and Thrive to Five structures.
• Follow daily routines, lesson plans, and safety procedures.
• Enter GOLD observations and assist with data collection for assessments.
• Collaborate with team to support children with disabilities and health needs.
