Job summary
Community Action Partnership Of Lancaster County Inc. seeks a Floating Teaching Assistant to join the Thrive to Five team in Lancaster, PA. This full-time role supports multiple classrooms and may rotate placements based on program needs.
Responsibilities include implementing Creative Curriculum, following lesson plans, and promoting healthy development and safety. Minimum qualifications include 2500 hours with children and 30 college credits; benefits include a sign-on bonus and comprehensive
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED with 2500 hours of experience with children.
- At least 30 college credit hours in education or related human services.
- May meet PA DHS Assistant Group Supervisor qualifications via experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing curriculum and daily structures.
- Follow classroom schedules, routines and lesson plans.
- Use responsive language with children.
- Participate in individualized instruction for children with disabilities.
