Job summary

Community Action Partnership Of Lancaster County Inc is hiring a Teaching Assistant Preschool for the Thrive to Five program in Downtown Lancaster, PA. This full-time non-exempt role supports the Lead Teacher and children in the classroom.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 2500 hours of experience and a CDA; preferred is an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Benefits and compliance with policies are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with 2500 hours of documented experience with children.
• A CDA credential with 1250 hours of documented experience with children is required.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Promote cognitive development and learning dispositions in all children.
• Assist with implementing curriculum and daily structures in accordance with program guidelines.
• Follow safety, health and meal service standards for Thrive to Five and Head Start.
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher in observation and data collection for differentiation.
