Job summary

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Floating MSR IV (Loan Officer) based at the Holmestown Road branch. The MSR IV will assist members and potential members with loan needs directly and through other staff, handling complex services like IRAs, CDs, EFTs and home banking. Pay is $22.00-$23.74 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous lending experience or experience with full service financial institution helpful.
• Knowledge of Credit Union loan services, policies, and procedures.
• Understanding of related legal and regulatory standards and required loan documentation.
• Knowledge of consumer and residential lending practices.

Responsibilities

• Assists members with loan applications, reviews documentation, and processes preliminary loan requests.
• Interviews applicants, verifies income and employment, and computes debt-to-income ratios.
• Evaluates loan requests, helps determine collateral value, and communicates decisions.
• Assists in cross-selling credit union products and supporting customer service.
• Maintains accurate records and supports branch staffing across locations.
