Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Floating Security Officer for full-time roles at our Topeka and Lawrence, KS locations. You will actively monitor premises, control access, patrol various sites, and enforce site regulations to keep clients safe.

The role requires 18+ with HS Diploma or GED, strong customer service, technical aptitude, and the ability to work across Topeka and Lawrence. Training and weekly pay are provided, with comprehensive benefits available.”

Floating Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Locations: Topeka & Lawrence, KS

Wage Range: $14.50-$21.00/HR

The Floating Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.

• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.

• Conduct tours of the property.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
