Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Henry, IL is seeking an Access Control Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment. You will monitor premises, manage access control, and patrol multiple locations while enforcing site regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong computer skills including Excel and Word, and at least 1 year of customer service experience. Driving patrols and eligibility for pre-employment screening are included.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Traffic control.
• Badging visitors.
• Monitoring cameras.
• Logging trucks.

Access Control Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Henry, IL

Wage: $18.59/HR

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 1PM - 9PM

The Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 1 year customer service experience required.
• Security experience preferred.
• Driver Certification.
• Driving patrols required.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
