Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Flex Officer for full-time work in Topeka and Lawrence, KS. The position focuses on maintaining a safe environment, managing access control, and patrolling multiple client sites while enforcing site rules for personnel and visitors.

You’ll use security technology during shifts, perform de-escalation, and report safety issues. A high school diploma and driver certification are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Driver Certification.
• Must be able to work in both cities, Topeka and Lawrence, KS.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Flex Officer - Full Time

Primary Locations: Topeka & Lawrence, KS

Wage Range: $16.00-$19.00/HR

The Flex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
