Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting in Ohio. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, safety and infection control, and ongoing patient education. A valid Ohio RN license and BLS are required, with ACLS within 6 months for critical areas.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license is required.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS within 6 months for step-down/ICU areas.
• BSN must be completed within five years of hire for most positions.
• Certification in a clinical specialty within five years of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments across physical and psychosocial domains.
• Develop and communicate the plan of care using SBAR with the team.
• Implement nursing actions and delegate under physician orders and hospital policy.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and care plans.
• Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and participate in unit initiatives.
