Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• BSN within 5 years after hire is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments using the Christ Hospital Professional Practice Model.
• Develop and revise multidisciplinary care plans with patient and family; use SBAR for handoffs.
• Perform and delegate nursing actions per orders; educate patient and family.
• Respond to emergencies with prompt, precise actions; maintain safety and infection control.
• Document care accurately in the EMR; update plan of care and patient responses.
