Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Floating Property Manager to lead a team and influence budgeting decisions across properties, driving financial performance.

Ideal candidates have five years in multifamily real estate, solid budgeting/financial reporting skills, and proven leadership. Some travel to multiple locations, including the East Coast and Washington, DC, will be required.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in multifamily real estate.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking when setting goals.
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial statements.
• Proficient in writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Proven leadership through actions.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations, including the East Coast and Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, marketing plans, staffing plans and capital plans.
• Drive financial performance of the property through understanding how operational decisions impact financial results.
• Hire, recruit, train, develop, motivate, supervise and assess performance of all staff.
• Maintain professional resident communications via newsletters and other media.
• Engage in promotional/social/content marketing activities.
• Support and manage operations at various properties based on business needs.
