Responsibilities
  • Work with the Assistant Vice President and staff to complete annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, marketing plans, staffing plans, and capital plans.
  • Drive the financial performance of the property by understanding how operational decisions impact results; interpret financial statements and required reports.
  • Hire, recruit, train, develop, motivate, supervise, and assess the performance of all staff.
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal skills and engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain professional resident communications regarding concerns, service requests, and other items of interest via newsletters and other media.
  • Actively engage in the evolving promotional, social, and content marketing landscape.
  • Support and manage operations at various properties based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in multifamily real‑estate.
  • Critical and analytical thinking when setting goals and reporting results.
  • Proficiency in computer software to solve financial and operational issues.
  • Understanding of budgets and financial statements.
  • Excellent written, spoken, and written English communication skills.
  • Proven leadership by actions and a sense of humor.
  • Travel to multiple locations to provide operational and management support based on business needs.
  • Ideal candidate based on the East Coast, preferably Washington, DC.
