Job summary

Labcorp in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, collecting specimens for tests, and accurate data entry. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a California CPT license, with 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm, with potential overtime and travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
