Labcorp in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capture specimens across age groups. You will enter patient data, assist with billing, and prepare samples for testing while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires phlebotomy experience and certification, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work at multiple sites. COVID-19 vaccination or accommodations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Position requires COVID-19 vaccination or approved accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
