Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd is looking for a Phlebotomist to join a contract role serving Bloomington, IN and surrounding areas. You will float to multiple sites, perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure accurate documentation. Mileage is reimbursed and benefits are available.

The ideal candidate has a phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Valid driving record and transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture following protocol.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens; record maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and transport.
