Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Float Phlebotomist in Marion, Illinois for casual/per diem shifts. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, travel to multiple sites, and support processing and billing tasks as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 1 year of phlebotomy experience, with preference for 2+ years in outpatient labs. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required; phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team; flexible scheduling and travel to additional sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
