Job summary

Labcorp in Yakima, WA is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. This role covers patient service centers or client offices, performing skilled specimen collections and delivering exceptional customer service.

The position offers a pay range of $17.75–$25.61 per hour with a quarterly incentive bonus and an extra $2.00/hr float incentive plus mileage reimbursement. OT flexibility and comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington-issued Phlebotomy License.
• 3+ months of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• 6+ months of Labcorp phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• In lieu of license, application for WA phlebotomy license may meet requirement.
• Able to pass a color blindness test.
• At least 21 years old.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
