Job summary

Labcorp in Yakima, WA, is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture/capillary methods for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service at multiple sites.

The position requires a Washington phlebotomy license, with 3–6 months of phlebotomy experience and a track record with Labcorp is preferred. A quarterly incentive plan and float incentive are offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington phlebotomy license.
• 3+ months phlebotomy experience.
• 6+ months Labcorp phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
