Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Yakima, WA. In this role you will perform skilled blood collections, travel to additional sites, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate patient data.

The position offers a rotating schedule with hours between 7:00AM and 7:00PM, with some overtime. A Washington phlebotomy license and prior phlebotomy experience are preferred, along with Labcorp familiarity.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington-issued Phlebotomy License.
• 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• 6+ months of Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
