Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Worcester, MA to support the mental health pharmacy operations. You will dispense prescriptions and handle clerical tasks under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm EST, full-time (40 hours). Located at 435 Shrewsbury St., Worcester, MA 01604. No nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted MA Pharmacy Technician license.
• Reliability to commute with own car and valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to run errands (post office/bank/FedEx) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clinic staff and consumers.
• Fill prescription orders under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies; process wholesaler orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist and help keep the pharmacy compliant with federal and state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
