Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to support multiple Miami-area locations with patient-centered care, MTM, and immunizations. You will lead teams as pharmacist-on-duty, drive pharmacy initiatives, and ensure top-tier service.

Applicants must be a PharmD, hold an active Florida license, and be immunization-certified or eligible. A flexible schedule and opportunity for career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must hold an unrestricted state pharmacist license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must not have active suspensions or restrictions related to health insurance program participation.
• Must not have had an unacceptable drug test result in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure pharmacy success as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Set priorities, execute daily tasks, support the team, and build rapport.
• Deliver best-in-class pharmacy service through counseling and MTM, promoting customer loyalty.
• Promote immunizations and clinical initiatives, including MTM and vaccines.
• Mentor team members on Publix pharmacy best practices to maximize sales and minimize shrink.
• Coordinate and manage prescription processing and scheduling in absence of the PIC.
• Be an expert on the pharmacy technology system for routine and complex prescriptions.
