Job summary

Publix Pharmacy in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to deliver patient-centered care across our pharmacy locations. You will provide counseling, immunizations, MTM and support staff to ensure exceptional service and efficient operations.

The role requires a PharmD, active state license, and a commitment to compliance, with flexible scheduling to meet customer needs and opportunities for growth within Publix.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a health insurance program at hire or thereafter.
• Must not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated pharmacy service to patients and support the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Set priorities to maximize contribution and support the team.
• Counsel patients and promote pharmacist-led clinical services (MTM, immunizations).
• Lead by example to ensure timely prescription processing and customer care.
• Mentor staff on Publix pharmacy best practices to maximize sales and minimize shrink.
