Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to provide patient-centered care across pharmacy locations. You will lead the team on duty, ensure efficient prescription processing, and support clinical initiatives such as MTM and immunizations.

The role emphasizes counseling, relationship building with customers, and maintaining high service standards while managing pharmacy operations and team performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter.
• Must not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years.
• Be immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements or plan to become one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and understand instructions and solve problems.
• Numerical and financial aptitude.
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control.

• Mentor team on Publix pharmacy best practices to maximize sales and minimize shrink.
• Advance clinical initiatives like MTM and immunizations.
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
