Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Unrestricted state pharmacist license.
• No active suspensions, sanctions, or health-insurance program restrictions at hire or thereafter.
• No unacceptable drug test results in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and motivate staff as pharmacist-on-duty to support each pharmacy’s success.
• Set priorities and complete daily tasks while building rapport with customers and associates.
• Deliver best-in-class pharmacy service through counseling and pharmacist-led clinical services (MTM, immunizations) to improve health and wellness.
• Inspire teams to do the right thing, gain buy-in and accountability.
• Provide enthusiasm for new pharmacy initiatives at the assigned location.
• Manage team performance and prescriptions timing in the absence of the PIC, ensuring timely operations.
• Apply best practices to make sound business decisions while on duty as pharmacist.
• Be the expert on the pharmacy technology system for routine and complex prescriptions.
• Mentor others on Publix pharmacy practices to maximize sales and minimize shrink, using auto-refill and Sync Your Refills.
• Advance MTM and immunization initiatives.
• Maintain a flexible work-week to meet customer needs.
• Assist in all other duties as assigned.
