Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to support multiple locations, including Walton, Louisville, and Lexington. You will lead as the pharmacist-on-duty, deliver patient-centered care, and drive MTM and immunization services across stores.

Travel and flexibility are essential as you rotate to assigned locations, ensuring best-in-class service while supporting store teams and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter.
• Must not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years.
• Be an immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements (or scheduled to become an immunizer).

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients as pharmacist-on-duty.
• Motivate and inspire staff to ensure pharmacy success and customer care.
• Support complex operational activities to meet prescription timelines.
• Mentor others on Publix pharmacy best practices to maximize service and sales.
• Proactively advance pharmacy clinical initiatives including MTM and immunizations.
