Job summary

Kinney Drugs in Gouverneur, NY seeks a skilled Pharmacist to uphold the Kinney Standard of Practice, dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, delivering high quality care to our customers in the Gouverneur community.

You will supervise inventory to maximize turns, coordinate orders with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers, train staff, interface with auditors, maintain confidential patient records, and promote professional relationships with doctors

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid State Pharmacy License and registration.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree or BS in Pharmacy required by state regulations.
• Ability to work standing for long periods and provide patient counseling.

Job Summary:Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the Kinney Standard of Practice as it relates to the provision of the highest quality health care service to our customersJob Duties:Follows the Kinney Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patientsPerforms all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelinesFollows all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of PharmacyOversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claimsManages and balances the pharmacy inventory to provide for maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.
