Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.

You will oversee inventory control, third-party claim submissions, and liaison with Kinney Warehouse to maintain smooth operations. The role requires a current NY pharmacist license and immunizer certification, with responsibilities spanning regulatory adherence, staff training, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced pharmacy

Qualifications

• Valid State Pharmacist license and current registration.
• Must be able to stand/walk throughout shift and pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Certified Immunizer status required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients following Kinney Standard of Practice.
• Perform QA steps to ensure accurate prescriptions.
• Report dispensing incidents per guidelines and maintain compliance with state/federal rules.
• Oversee third party claim submissions and timeliness.
• Manage inventory to maximize turns while staying in stock for customers.
• Coordinate with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers for orders and returns.
• Ensure records and files comply with regulations and privacy rules.
• Maintain and improve pharmacy technology use for ROI and longevity.
• Provide outstanding customer service and enforce loss prevention policies.
• Assist in marketing and promotional programs for the pharmacy.
• Train and develop staff through Kinney Clerk/Technician programs.
• Interface with auditors and external agencies as needed.

Job Summary:Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the Kinney Standard of Practice as it relates to the provision of the highest quality health care service to our customersJob Duties:Follows the Kinney Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patientsPerforms all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelinesFollows all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of PharmacyOversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claimsManages and balances the pharmacy inventory to provide for maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.
